The Civil Defence Cell is a dedicated unit of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), formed with a sincere aim to raise public awareness about Civil Defence, its structure, purpose, and importance.
Our primary mission is to encourage public participation in Civil Defence and inspire citizens to contribute actively to nation-building and disaster management.
The Civil Defence Cell under NIB comprises volunteers from all walks of life who are trained and committed to serving society during natural and man-made disasters. It is a true example of national integration, where individuals from diverse regions, religions, castes, and backgrounds unite with a shared purpose — to protect lives, property, and uphold humanity in times of crisis.
